Anita Iseghohi

Anita Iseghohi (born Anita Queen Uwagbale) is a Nigerian businesswoman.[1]

Edo-native Iseghohi spent most of her early years in Lagos until she gained admission into Madonna University, Port Harcourt to study Accountancy.[2] As an undergraduate, Iseghohi was crowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2004, enabling her to take part in Miss Universe[3] and Miss World later in the year. Although a contender for the crown, Iseghohi failed to make the top ten; however she was named African Continental Queen of Beauty.[4] As MBGN, Iseghohi's projects included activism against environmental pollution.

Iseghohi is married to businessman Tom Iseghohi, who she met halfway through her reign as MBGN. Following a registry ceremony in America, the couple had a society wedding in Lagos in 2008, and are now the parents of two sons.[5] In 2009, he was accused of embezzling from NITEL shareholders; the charges were later dropped.[6]

Iseghohi continues to study in America while working at her businesses which include motherhood retail chain The Baby Store.[7] [8] [9]
